Mech416 Soil by Hargreaves
Mech 416 Soil is a mechanically jointed range of pipes and fittings in 50mm to 150mm diameter suitable for above-ground soil and waste systems.
The Mech 416 system is a modern, mechanically jointed, socketless cast iron solution designed for above ground soil drainage applications. Finished with a matt black epoxy coating, this system not only delivers on performance but also on aesthetic appeal.
Ideal for refurbishment projects, the Mech 416 system is perfect for apartment blocks and multi-storey car parks. It combines the traditional benefits of a BS 416 socket and spigot cast iron soil system with advanced features that offer significant labour savings. This is achieved through the use of efficient jointing techniques, making installation quicker and easier.
The system utilizes two-piece ductile iron couplings for mechanical jointing, similar to the BS EN 877 Halifax Soil & Drain systems.
Mech 416 ductile Cast Iron couplings are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1563. ISO 1083 with a minimum strength of 420N/mm2.This flexibility allows for both horizontal and vertical installations as required. All couplings are supplied with EPDM rubber sealing rings which are suitable for most applications.
